Meet today’s newest member of the EEE Family from Asus, This new piece of technology has 2 options available in the market, Well one is the 80 GB Hard drive with a Windows XP OS, while the other has a Linux-based OS in it with a 40GB solid-state version. Asus addresses lots of problems that previous EEE models have, and created a much more solid
generation for the EE family.
One downside I’ve seen with the EEE 1000h is that it’s quite chunky with a weight of 1.5 kg, That’s 3.6 pounds not to mention the six-celled battery packed strapped to its behind that provides quite a long lasting battery life, not to mention 6 hours on a single charging is quite remarkable already compare to other laptops out there..
Another downside of it is if your a Vista Os fanatic, well the EEe PC 1000 isn’t for you, and it isn’t that fast running on XP either. The screen is a bit disappointing it comes with a shape of wireless that makes it well compensated.
Asus EEE PC 1000h Price is also quite reasonable with a price ranging from $400-$500.
